La “Villa Romana” of the 1st century A.D., the ancient home of a wealthy roman patrician Family which is today one of most representative artistic points of the small town of Minori visited every year by tourists from every part of the globe.

The Basilica dedicated to Saint Trofimena, patron saint of Minori, was built for the first time at the end of the eighteenth century. The actual church is the result of the reconstruction of the nineteenth century in baroque style.

The feast of the patron Saint Trofimena comes tre times a year (July 13th, November 05th and 27th)
A well known local tradition is the preparation of Nativity scenes in all churches and the cult of the passion of Christ with the torch-bearers’ chanting..
